The California Cool Air Rebate Program aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cars and light duty trucks with R-134a refrigerant by offering financial subsidies to Californians. In exchange, you will receive payment from the Car Care Council for performing these repairs. By participating you will gain numerous advantages for your business and help keep California’s air clean.
Grow your customer base by participating in this program. You and your customers will take advantage of money ear marked for MVAC leak repairs.
By participating in this program, you will earn the trust and loyalty of your community, foster goodwill and build strong relationships with potential customers.
The California Cool Air Rebate Program will be highlighted through various media channels, which might include press releases, social media, billboards, and radio.
Step 1
Cool Air Rebate Team connects your shop with eligible consumers in your local community. Your shop diagnoses the problem with the MVAC system and provides an estimate for the recommended repair/service.
Step 2
Shops will approve eligible repairs with customers and set an appointment for repairs. Shops will upload diagnostic report so CAR has a record of all work done.
Step 3
Your shop performs the repairs of the MVAC system and sends Cool Air Rebate Program confirmation of completed repairs, invoice and report on amount of refrigerant reclaimed.
Step 4
Cool Air Rebate Program pays your shop directly for diagnostic and repair costs*.
To apply to be part of the program, complete the form below or download and mail in a printed version of your application.
